Apparently Students who have recently graduated are shunning schemes such as internships and work experience in fear of not being paid the going rate.
What with student loans getting more expensive, I think we will find the graduate market flooded again soon.
Interestingly, whenever I meet graduates (and I generally meet a lot), they are struggling to find good local opportunties that are attractive to them. Even more interesting is that when I talk to other employers who are looking for graduates - they seem to be doing loads to find them, but having no luck - so something isn't getting through !
